Møre og Romsdal Ski Federation is a part of the Norwegian Ski Federation. They organize six ski branches: alpine, freestyle, jumping, Nordic combined, cross-country and telemark ("free heel skiing"). The district team of Møre og Romsdal consists of 16 ski athletes aged 16-20 years, fifteen juniors and a senior.
The Norwegian Ski Federation, and thus the Møre og Romsdal Ski Federation’s goal in the period 2008-2012 is that skiing will be Norway's national sport rooted through a widespread interest in the Norwegian people. Norway will be the world's best ski nation. Good facilities and trails will be available to skiers of all levels. NSF will through their activities contribute to good upbringing, good experience of nature and good public health. They will be an important corporate citizen that respects nature, climate and environment.
